A day of cycling is a great way to really experience the region, especially since we are lucky enough to benefit from an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. It is also the perfect way to get a taste for the terrain if you are thinking about joining a longer cycling tour. The area of Herault abounds with quiet back roads that wind through the rolling countryside filled with vineyards and olive groves. The terrain is varied making it easy for us to select an enjoyable route whatever your cycling level. Heading towards the coast, routes are relatively flat. Inland the roads offer gently rolling hills and longer climbs for those who are looking for a challenge. We will ride with you and introduce you to the best routes and places to stop along the way. We recommend a hybrid bike as a flexible option for all routes, but all-terrain or road bikes can be accomodated. Bike hire can be provided for an additional charge and subject to availability. We are confident you will love cycling in Languedoc as much as we do!
