Fully supported cycle tours

Regardless of how experienced you are as a cyclist, there are lots of details to work out when planning a cycling holiday. It can be daunting if you don’t know the area and terrain or simply don’t have time to do the necessary research.

The only decision you need to make is where you want to go. We can organise:

  • airport transfers
  • your routes
  • your accomodation and even your meals

But we aim to do more than handle the logistics. If this is your first time riding a new terrain, a supportive group and guide team can make all the difference. Our experienced guides will show you the best routes and the hidden gems of the area. We will help you find your pace, avoid injury, achieve your goals, and most importantly, enjoy the experience.

FAQs

All our guided tours include:

  • Airport transfers for you and your bike
  • Accommodation near key routes
  • Daily supported rides with guide and vehicle
  • Mechanic support to help assemble and disassemble your bike at the beginning and end of the trip and for minor repairs on route
Vehicle support offers you a place to store essential spares and tools, a first aid kit, spare clothing, snacks and drinks. It also gives you the peace of mind that if you run out of steam you’ve always got the option of jumping in the van!

You will also receive the support of at least one of us riding with the group, spending some time with each rider to help motivate, and observe how you are doing to help you get the most out of your ride.

Certainly. We have non-cycling partner options and activities available depending on the location. The South of France offers a multitude of leisure pursuits including wine tours and tastings.
When planning a trip that involves longer distances (over 80 km per day) or taking on a particular sporting challenge, we recommend bringing your own bike where this is reasonable. However, bike hire is available on all of our trips for an additional fee. Please contact us for details.
It is best to be prepared. We recommend bringing:

  • Your bike fit measurements (if you have them). Whether you are bringing your own bike or hiring one, your measurements will to help set up your bike for optimal comfort and performance on arrival
  • Travel insurance
  • Cash and/or credit card for souvenirs and sundries
  • Cycling kit for each day of riding – include items for colder weather and rain just in case.
  • Helmet and shoes with an extra set of cleats
  • Sunglasses
  • Mobile phone / charger / adapter
  • Basic first aid items such as paracetamol, muscle rub, plasters, sunblock and chamois cream
  • If you are bringing your own bike, don’t forget consumables for any minor on-route repairs such as hand pump, multi-tool, spare inner tubes, tyre levers.
  • Garmin or other cycling computer
